Human activist Aisha Yesufu has stated that Peter Obi, the Labour Party's (LP) presidential candidate, cannot fix Nigeria by himself. On Sunday, the 49-year-old confirmed this via her verified Twitter account. Peter Obi cannot resolve Nigeria's problems by himself. "Make sure the National Assembly is filled with capable candidates," she tweeted. In a longer speech made in a YouTube video that was published just before the tweet, Yesufu emphasized that Nigerians shouldn't elect "selfish politicians" as lawmakers and then anticipate success if they only vote for Peter Obi in the presidential election. She argued that voters should support candidates rather than political parties.
The former governor of Anambra State will be held accountable if he is elected president, according to Aisha Yesufu, who made the statement in October while running for office in Nasarawa State. "The election of 2023 is a contest for survival." Not only do we vote for ourselves, but we also vote for the generation after us, including our children and grandchildren. Mr. Peter Obi should hold office, according to us. She assured the crowd in Lafia, the state capital, that she would hold him responsible and would make sure he served the interests of the people.
