Of the 12 municipalities declared so far in Lagos State, parliamentary presidential candidate Bola tinubu of the All Progressive Party won seven and his opponent, Peter Obi of the Labor Party, won five.
Despite losing local government pond tea to Obi, things still seem to be going well in the state.
Local administrative district results announced include Lagos Mainland, Ikorodu, Epee, Ibej Lekki, Lagos Island, Badagry, Ikeja, Kosofe, Eti Osa, Somol, Amwo Odofin, and Agege. The state has 20 municipalities.
Aside from Ikeja, where Obi was greatly upset, the LP candidate also won the municipalities of Kosofe and Somolu, widely regarded as home to the APC.
